| dc.description.abstract | The operations of the Somali PACE Component were governed by the overall PACE objective
aimed at relieving the poverty of those involved in the livestock-farming sector (producers, service
providers and consumers) in Africa by improving animal productivity, trade and food security. In
Somalia, this entails strengthening of the capacities of livestock owners, traders, public institutions
and private sector animal health workers to cooperate for effective delivery of services to improve
animal health in order to enhance trade in livestock and livestock products. | |
