Abstract
Since its inception in 2020, culminating in formal registration on 9th April 2024, the African Women in Animal Resources Farming and Agribusiness Network (AWARFA-N) Uganda Chapter has been at the forefront of empowering women in animal resource farming and agribusiness across Uganda. As part of the larger Pan-African AWARFA-N network, our work has focused on improving the social and economic transformation of women involved in animal resources and agribusiness activities, such as dairy farming, technical guidance for formulation, review and implementation of gender policies, advocacy, legislation, standards, in areas of animal resources sector
