Abstract
AU-IBAR, in collaboration with Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries (MINEPIA) of the Republic of Cameroon, held a National Stakeholder Consultative Workshop in Yaoundé from 25th to 27th February 2025. The consultative workshop was organized to support the Republic of Cameroon to develop an all-inclusive and deliberate national strategy for mainstreaming gender in Aquatic Biodiversity conservation and Environmental Management. This is intended to support the role of women and youth in the country’s efforts to conserve aquatic biodiversity, ensuring the integration of gender perspectives into national policies and practices.
