Consultative meeting on establishment of the Egyptian Chapter of African Women Fish Processors and Traders network (AWFISHNET EGYPT)

The main objective of the meeting was to establish the Egyptian Chapter of AWFISHNET so that Egyptian women can be represented at the continental level to network with the continental and other national networks, to contribute to improving the welfare, working conditions, and income for women in fisheries and especially in the post-harvest sector within the member states of the African Union.
