Abstract
The 33rd General Conference of the International Scientific Council for Trypanosomiasis Research and Control (ISCTRC) and the 14th meeting of the Pan African Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis Eradication Campaign (PATTEC) national coordinators was held at the Palais du 15 Juillet, N’Djamena, Republic of Chad from the 13th to the 18th of September 2015.
Description
A report from the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND) showed that progress had been made in the development of a test for second stage trypanosomiasis using a biomarker Neopterin in the cerebrospinal fluid, which is suitable as both a staging and test of cure.
