Catalyzing Transformation towards Sustainable Livestock Systems (LiveSys): Factsheet

Abstract

LiveSys (2024–2028, BMZ-funded, EUR 6.53 million) supports decision-makers in Africa and Latin America to transform livestock systems in ways that protect climate, biodiversity and land while securing smallholder livelihoods. Implemented with AU-IBAR, ILRI, the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, and WWF, it works through advocacy in global and regional agendas, capacity development, knowledge exchange and finance mobilisation, with focus countries Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia and Mexico.
