Report of Experts’ Meeting on the Establishment and Operationalization of the Association of African Veterinary Statutory Bodies

Abstract

This report is the result of a joint continental meeting for veterinary education establishments and veterinary statutory bodies organized by AU-IBAR in collaboration with Ecole Inter-Etats des Sciences et Medicine Veterinaires (EISMV), which took place from the 5th to the 7th of July 2017 in Dakar, Senegal. The purpose of the meeting was to operationalize the Africa Association of African Veterinary Statutory Bodies (2AVSB), a collaborative continental platform promoting the quality of veterinary services in Africa for improved animal health and food safety.
