| dc.description.abstract | The Africa Blue Economy Strategy (ABES) provides a framework for Member States and Regional Economic Communities to develop their inclusive Blue Economy sectors, by harnessing water-dependent sectors such as fisheries, aquaculture, maritime transport, aquatic mining, renewable energy and blue tourism. Under the auspices of the Mission of the Kingdom of Norway to the African Union, the AU-IBAR is implementing a project to support African Union Member States and Regional Economic Communities to develop national and regional Blue Economy Strategies aligned to the African Blue Economy Strategy. The information in this policy brief has been collected from the said project activities and outputs. | |
