Abstract
Les États membres de l’UA, membres des organisations régionales de gestion des pêches (ORGP), ont un triple rôle dans leurs organisations respectives, en tant qu’État de pavillon, État de port et État côtier. Le renforcement de leurs capacités dans la participation efficace à ces organisations, nécessite un investissement dans les six domaines suivants : • Cadre juridique et réglementaire ; • Organisation institutionnelle et infrastructures • Suivi, contrôle et surveillance (SCS) ; • Personnel scientifique et infrastructures ; • Participation à la pêche en haute mer • Appropriation et mise en œuvre des principaux instruments liés à la pêche ; et
 
AU Member States, members of regional fisheries management organizations (RFMOs), have triple roles in their respective organizations, as flag State, port State and coastal State. Strengthening their capacity to effectively participate in these organizations require investing in the following six areas: • Legal and regulatory framework; • Institutional organization and infrastructure • Monitoring, Control and Surveillance (MCS); • Scientific personnel and infrastructure; • Participating in high seas fisheries • Domestication and implementation of key fisheries related instruments; and
