Abstract
The Policy Brief makes several recommendations; such as Public and private partnerships, to engage significantly more actors in animal genetic resources (AnGR) issues, increase awareness of their value and increase the number of people taking positive action.; Effective conservation of AnGR and ecosystem services, could provide many benefits to breeder’s communities and also make efficient the use of scarce resources.; and AnGR, wildlife and ecosystems need to be properly recognised to enable sustainable and healthy environment and to deliver essential benefits to communities.
