Abstract
This strategy was technically developed with the goal of promoting sustainable rangeland resource management for improved livelihoods in Somalia's pastoral communities. This strategy is a step toward assisting communities in managing their resources sustainably in the face of changing climatic conditions that have impacted productivity. The strategy will assist Somalia in meeting the agreements of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The strategy was developed with funding from the European Union by AU-IBAR through Live2Africa.
